We can't wait to see you!

We are so excited to welcome campers back to a place filled with faith, friendship, creativity, and God’s beautiful creation.

This summer, our camps will run in the month of August only - a Small Fry / Junior, an Intermediate, a Youth camp, and a concurrent 3 week LIT camp. 

Why the short summer?

Camp Douglas is navigating some financial challenges and after much careful and prayerful consideration, our camp committee decided that a shorter summer was the best option to be considerate to our young adult staff team without compromising the experience of our campers. 

While this has been a difficult decision, we trust that the steps we are taking will help strengthen Camp Douglas for the years to come. Above all, we continue to place our trust in God’s provision and guidance. We believe He is at work, and we are hopeful that these measures will lead to a fuller, stronger summer in the future.

How can I help?

  • Register - the biggest encouragement to us will be seeing our camps fill up with campers old and new! We truly love summer camp and can’t wait to welcome campers in August!
  • Pray with us - we trust that the Camp Douglas ministry belongs to God. Please pray with us as we seek to follow his leading and trust his provision. 
  • Donate - Camp Douglas is completely reliant on the generosity of donors. If you would like to support the Camp Douglas financially on a one-off or ongoing basis, please follow this link Donate Here. 
  • Consider renting our space! - we are opening the Camp Douglas site for rentals through the month of July. The site will be rented as a whole so would be suitable for large groups of up to 60. We view this as an opportunity to share Camp Douglas with a wider community than we would normally reach.
