Small Fry
What to Expect
Our Small Fry program is specially designed to help new campers discover the fun of camp and hear more about God’s love for them. Your child can expect to make new friends during meal times and Bible Study, and to laugh out loud as their Cabin Leaders lead them in silly songs. Our littlest campers will enjoy forest games, beach walks, splashing in the ocean, crafts, imagination & team games, and covering the courtyard with sidewalk chalk art. We never know when a goofy dragon, a fumbling pirate, or a favourite Dr. Seuss character is going to visit Camp Douglas.We adapt our usual program to suit the needs of small children. Sometimes that means earlier morning chapels and bed-times, other times it means extra snacks throughout the day. Small Fry Campers benefit from “Happy Horizontal Hour” (midday rest period) and soothing evening campfire songs before snacks and nightly prayers. Our campers go to bed satisfied and ready for sleep.

Junior Camp
What to Expect
Our Junior camp program balances adventures and challenges with lots of team-building and care for individual needs. Many Junior campers feel ready to try new things like knuckleball, while others enjoy hearing a quiet story and making a bracelet for a friend. Our sensitive and caring Cabin Leaders work hard to ensure camper comfort and success in all activities.Some favorite Junior activities: fortbuilding, fish-catching, raft-making, Sandy Beach day, and of course singing silly songs at campfire. Evening forest games center around a weekly theme with costumed characters – you never know when Robin Hood will need your help to outwit King John.
Come join us for canoe rides, Bible Study, food that pleases even picky eaters, crafts, knuckleball, new friends, and greater knowledge of God’s love.
