DESCRIPTION:Our L.I.T. camp is in August 9-28\, 2026 for campers aged 15-16
  years old\nWhat to Expect\nOver the course of this 19-night camp\, LITs w
 ill have lots of opportunities to practice leadership skills and demonstra
 te responsibility\, in our safe and supportive environment. LITs will get
  a chance to lead chapel and devotional times\, to shadow Camp Douglas cab
 in leaders and program staff in their day-to-day duties and to carry out a
  community service project to give back to our local area.\nThis camp is t
 ruly a 'Leadership training' program\, and is distinct from our other camp
 s. LITs are coached\, encouraged and trusted with responsibilities in our 
 signature\, relational Camp Douglas style. As this age group are the oldes
 t campers we have at Camp Douglas\, the LIT program will offer an in-depth
  insight into what it is like to volunteer or work at camp\, for those wis
 hing to explore this opportunity in future years.\nHowever\, we are also g
 oing to make the most of your final year as a camper\, so you can expect t
 o get to participate in all the fun activities you've loved over the years
