Camp Douglas is a vital ministry that serves children, youth and families in the name of Jesus Christ. This important ministry depends on the prayers and faith of our many supporters. Young people gain leadership skills while growing in faith when they work in the Christ-centered Camp Douglas environment. Children and families find nurture and challenge in their time spent at Camp Douglas. There are many ways that people can get involved in continuing this vital ministry:
- Volunteer in the camp kitchen or be a cabin leader for a week
- Pray for our young leaders, committee members, property managers and campers
- Participate in monthly work parties held on the last Saturday of March, April, May & June
- Join our “Sponsor a Cabin” program
- Follow us on Facebook
- Give to our Campership Fund and help children who are in need go to camp
- Bake cookies for our summer program
- Contribute an item from our Wish List
- Speak to young people in your congregation about how they can get involved at Camp Douglas
- Help a family from your congregation or neighbourhood to attend Family Camp
- Attend the annual fundraising dinner for Camp Douglas
- Share your Camp Douglas stories with us
- Send us copies of your Camp Douglas pictures
