Help send a kid to camp!
For the entire month of June, 100% of any donation we receive is going straight into our Campership Fund to subsidize registration fees for families who need it most. Our big goal for June is to raise about $6,000 to provide camperships for all the families who have reached out to us and are currently on our waitlist. The Hymn Swing Benefit Concert was a huge success!
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended the Hymn Swing Benefit Concert at St. Andrew's and St. Stephen's last Sunday. Together, we raised a fantastic $6,600! This total makes a significant contribution to the ongoing operational costs of the Camp Douglas ministry; specifically, it completely covers the cost of one staff member for the entire summer season. We also want to extend our special thanks to Brian Fraser, Noah Franche-Nolan, and Brentwood Presbyterian Church for catalyzing the event and putting together the evening's incredible music. Finally, thank you to Martin Baxter, Sofia Avelino, and everyone at St. Andrew's and St. Stephen's for being such welcoming, supportive and generous hosts. |

Friends of Camp Douglas
Over the last few months, the Camp Douglas committee has been working hard to find new ways to communicate and mobilize our wide and wonderful camp community. Following our first meeting this past May, we are excited to grow the Friends of Camp Douglas! This group is a forum for those who want to participate in the year-round work of the camp ministry. As a member, you'll be part of our bi-annual meetings and receive monthly newsletter updates in between. Our goal is to bridge the gap between year-round camp operations and planning, and the amazing community that makes this ministry possible. Together, we'll look ahead, share budget updates, report on the Committee’s strategic work, and highlight specific prayer requests and needs for our upcoming summers. Is this group for you?We want to make sure everyone finds the right fit for their connection to camp. Please note that this group is designed for those who are already familiar with the camp ministry and want to be involved in year-round support and planning.
If you're ready to stay in the loop and support the behind-the-scenes work of camp, we'd love to have you. Sign up below to join the Friends of Camp Douglas mailing list and get info on our next meeting. For more infomation visit: https://campdouglas.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3639580
