Following are several Frequently Asked Questions about the Camp Douglas application process!
1. What jobs are you hiring for?
For a list of positions we are hiring for, please check out our website www.campdouglas.ca. You can find a complete list of positions along with their job descriptions under the “jobs” and “news” page.
2. What qualifications do I need to apply?
All Camp Douglas staff and volunteers must be 17 years of age as of July 1, 2015. Some positions require you to be older than this. Individual job descriptions can be found on the Camp Douglas website. Here you will find a detailed description about the qualifications necessary for each position. If you have any questions about the qualifications, please email email@example.com for more information.
3. When are interviews?
Interviews will be held on Saturday, January 17,2015 at First Presbyterian Church in New Westminster.
4. When will I be contacted?
Short listed applicants will be contacted between January 12 and January 14 to set up an interview time.
5. I’ve been a staff member before at Camp Douglas, do I need to submit an application?
Yes! Each year the application form changes. We want to know how you have grown between the last summer you worked for us and now!
7. I want to volunteer at Camp Douglas, what do I do?
The process for volunteering at Camp Douglas is the same as applying to be a staff member (see below for more details). Once we receive your application, references, and criminal record check we will invite you to attend Staff Training. 8. How do I apply?
To apply to be a staff member/volunteer at Camp Douglas, download the Staff Application form from the “Downloads” page on the website www.campdouglas.ca. Submit you application and references (preferably electronically) to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com by the due date which is midnight on January 12, 2015. If you cannot submit the application and references electronically, you can mail them to the following address:
